I’ve created a new Library and added my NAS share folder to it.

How do I get Windows 7 to index it? Indexing options doesn’t seem to show libraries so how do I add my new “server” library to the indexed locations?

Thanks for this tool, however when trying to run it, it places my network folder there but no content from it!!!

Then it seems i have to add one internal folder at a time but after its done and confirmed i get an error message with ‘Bugger’ and then when i look it has the folder but windows asks to include internal folders and i get the original ‘indexed’ error as i has beofre the software was installed

A few people have seen that, perhaps try disabling Aero, or updating your graphics drivers?

When I run the tool I get a blank window that says Win7 Library Tool in the title bar and the window contents is blank. Help. I have used this tool before and it worked great. Now I have a new PC.

Try killing all instances of explorer.exe (and then starting a new one), or rebooting.

I have a NAS (Linux Based) and have mapped the drive to my Windows Media Center. I used the Win7 Library Tool to add to the Pictures Library, a folder from the NAS. When I open the Library I see the Folder was added but it says it’s “Unsupported”. I tried it on several of my coomputers with the same results. Any advice would be appreciated

I am experiencing the ‘access denied’ error too. I can’t add/modify the Libraries. I am logged in as an admin and also tried running the program As Administrator. Any solutions?
